My name is Blaire, and I am a floral artist, designer and mama. I started my journey in hospitality working in Los Angeles in food and beverage/banquets, dabbled in tv and film, and eventually landed in the event world doing my own events. I’ve worn a few hats in my day, and truly love to make magic for my clients and believe all are welcome!

A little bit about my background in events- I opened my first business, in 2012, called Sparkles and Vintage. The business started as renting vintage furniture, then led me to wedding planning/event coordination, and then to full service florals. Initially wanting to launch Blaire Kimball Design in 2020, the pandemic took us all for a ride of a lifetime, and lets just say - flowers saved my soul, in more ways than one. *insert teary eyed emoji* By designing daily, learning textures/and flowers, and doing contactless deliveries and a flower club, a new passion and love was developed in me, that I am forever thankful for.

In 2021, I officially opened Blaire Kimball Design @blairekimball a floral company in the very competitive market of Los Angeles, California. Fast forward to now, in 2023 our family relocated to North Carolina, and she is referred to officially as BKD @bkdflorals - I am so thankful to have found the floral world, and so eager to design weddings & events here in NC.
